Cheers here a one from a while back of the front.

We are having to reduce the height of the Trick inlet manifold and run a much shorter spacer plate, so the bulge does not look comedy (it will still be pretty big ala the Webber fia one of a few years back). So we might loose 10 or more bhp (I ain't going to notice!). It came with a 2" spacer and a Proper full race Roush Manifold (proper Nascar stuff!), would have looked like the "Last of the V8 Interceptors"!
Certain things are to be changed on the cooling setup as yet - ever changing at present.

Gauge / dash half way there. Custom loom is the big job being done elsewhere at present.

It looks beautifully put together. Pat on the back to you and your dad. When's the first outing planned for?
Thanks. Father is a total perfectionist.I'll pass that on. I wish I could do more. Would not have happened without my father. I earn the cash that pays for it (and the other two that have to be kept running)!
I was told by a racer buddie (that definately had the fastest Griff created thus far) before starting it would completely EAT money - er yep. Could never have done it if farmed out to a Specialist (the labour would make it totally unattainable). I ain't ever going to be selling it, so don't get drawn into all the b
ks around values of these things.Hope to have it road legal before the end of the year (should be some road car!), we'll take it from there next year once the bugs are worked out of it.
Car is being made for me (short arse), so doubtful anyone 5'10" our bigger would every get in it, pedals and the seat exactly where I want them (that could go back maybe 1.5 - 2" though).
Will be a tight squeeze getting in

but wheel comes off, seat is very tasty but big ears and side bolsters (for tight arses too - you don't move once wedged in), plus the side bars. I might have to do some Houdini practice! But all adds to the fun.
Passengers / victim's will be a bit easier (no ears on the seat or obviously steering wheel).

Thank goodness for irrational people like yourself. The car is a major project which is stealing your non-work time and it gives you a sharp kick in the wallet any time you go near it and yet, you absolutely have to do it. It looks like it will be a fantastic reward when finished and great to be built as a road going car too.
