My drive is in a very bad way and I literally crawl down it at about 5mph in the porsche. After a trip to knockhill I've noticed some kind of suspension knocking when going over the bumps & potholes.

The last MOT records an advisory for slight play in ball joint on offside front tie bar/rod.... does anyone know what part number that would be and is this likely to be the cause of my knocks?

Play in the steering rod end, or the bushes in the coffin arms starting to delaminate can cause this.

Thank you, I will check these out, presumably these things will be fairly obvious when I get underneath the car?
