Leven Technology Hood Cover

Anyone got one? We are off to France and after my last major touring trip to France when someone decided to slash our BMW soft-top on our 328i I am slightly nervous and I am wondering if one of these:
A) Works
B) Does not scratch the body
C) Folds nice and small!
All opinions gratefully received.

ASAIK, the chim car cover would fit the Tam, (I found this out when I sold my Chim, along with the Leven hood cover 
!)
From what I recall, the edges of the hood cover did very slightly 'scuff' some areas of paintwork where it touched, but nothing too bad, and I did have the cover on through some appaling weather (never had a garage at the time!), and it did keep the car dry.

it comes in a little bag of it's own, so it can be folded and stored in that, quite small. It didn't scratch the paintwork at all, just slightly scuffed some areas where the edges touched the paintwork, I think the heavy gales we had at the time didn't help though!
If I knew my Tam was going to be parked outside for any length of time, I would definately invest in another

For windy days, you can tuck in flaps under bonnet and boot lid, but I normally just use the quick release clips around the mirrors. The interior is lined with brushed, er, stuff.

Fully reccomend these, easy to fit and take off and protect the car very well. As someone already said there are flaps which you can tuck under the bonnet and boot lid so it is secure as well. Have been using one for nearly 18 months and have had no issues at all.
I think that people who may have experienced some minor abrasion have been using it when the car is dirty so there has been something rubbing between the hood and the paint work. If your car is clean you should have no issues. But from chatting with people these are very very minor and a quick polish completely eliminates them.
Makes me feel a lot happier having the cover on. Keeps protected from the weather for a start. But also for you I think it makes the car more secure, and also makes it less obtrusive as people can't see in and pay it less attention, so less likely to attract mindless vandalism.
One other thing I heard of the other day is that you could also use it with the roof down if you wanted to leave the car somewhere quickly but the boot is full of bags etc. Just put up the back section and throw the cover over, voila, no need to unpack the boot and get the roof panel out.

God you would have been welcome, but its still being run in so I feel a bit slow compared to everyone else! Plus the SP6 needs a lot of warming before happyness is available! Ironically as soon as its warmed up it sounds so much better!

Spoke to LevenTechnology, it does not fit a tamora 
. They can make one but it needs more interest, besides me. Had a great chat with them anyway. They say Silverstone TVR are very keen on the Tamora and I must say having had one 6 weeks I dont know why are so unpopular! I think they are great!

I'm in Chelmsford. I was there when you pulled up at the White Hart but got caught up chatting.
Myself and drum4it are both Tamora fans, despite the negative perception from our esteemed 'friends' (seasider, dodger, satman, Tdf et al).
I thought yours looked superb, but I'm not sure I'm ready to lose my highly tuned V8 yet.....however I think a quick spin in yours may change that

I was told it would fit! (although not by LT), don't feel so bad letting mine go now though
it is quite frustrating isn't it, Maddog not being able to get all the usual TVR extras that the Tusc/Chim/Griff enjoy
As I stated in another post, the Tamora kick plates are like gold dust, took ages for mine to come, and the Tamora car mats (has Tamora embroidered in the carpet )!maddog-uk said:

So when did you get it? I remember seeing it at Blackpool under construction, but then lost track of it.
