You could get them to have a look here:
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

The first entry: "way back machine archive" may have some info for him.

Hope this helps?

Ford Capri/Cortina I believe (certainly the handles).

Source donor for door handles/locks etc is Cortina IV/V.

Exterior handles are the same (I think) on Mk3 Cortinas and late Capris, and Mk II (square) Granadas.

I think 'M' series TVRs used this exterior handle too.

Granadas have central locking mechanisms which will fit into Tasmin doors (get the little control/relay box to go with them)

Internal handles are BL, TR7/Marina/Others? but wire is welded (lengthened ?), although you can strip handle and change wire over easily.

Many thanks guys, knew I could rely on you all
I have passed on your wealth of knowledge to said owner who can now complete his restoration and another Tasmin will survive

AAARGH !!! Sorry, must be the alzheimers....

The exterior door handles are NOT bloody Cortina IV/V. What was I thinking ??

They are Capri and Granada mkI (Cortina III ?) as I now recall (correctly this time I hope)

Other details correct, locks probably in other Fords of that era too.

Apologies....

Zig,

Not arguing, but I can say DEFINITELY from actual experience that my '82 Wedge door locks are identical to both Cortina IV and Granada II mechanisms, and the central locking versions from Granada *just* fit, with a slight 'adjustment' in the vice (i.e. bending).

That why I added the note about probably several Ford models have the same locks....

I think I got my replacement door handles from an early Granny too, but I can't remember for sure !

The Cortina 4/5 had the pulls with separate lock cylinders. A lot of the later ones were black rather than chrome.
