Thermostat

Just a quick question, can the thermostat be removed from the casing or do you have just by the whole 3 piped alloy joint ?

I've just bought the complete unit from Power, but on their website, are they showing the actual thermostat, or is that a completely different part/for a different TiV?

The bare thermostats are for Rover powered cars/
