Just been for a ride in the new Tuscan R !!!!!!!
Discussion
Popped into the MotorExpo at Canary Wharf early this morning to have a look at the TVR’s on show (All the cars there are from the TVR Centre with the exception of the Tuscan R) As they still needed to get the cars to the display areas and in the right places I was able to blag a lift in the Tuscan R
– and WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a car, the noise on start up etc. is window shattering, the race seats and dash are fantastic. The pictures really don’t do the car justice in the metal it looks bloody marvelous fantastic even. I still took a heap of pictures that I’ll try to get posted today/tomorrow

Not sure what time it's open until (need to know myself!) but the web site is at:

Finally got round to uploading the pics here's the URL:

Some for the files may take a while as the resolution is quite high.

Tony T you will be one lucky man if you can get one. Meanwhile I will keep on playing the lottery.
Has it got back seats or is it all fuel tank? I know the initial concept looked like it was going to be an option as to what you got back there.
I hear performance is in excess of 200mph
Cheers

The demo version as at back home and now the Motorexpo is still without the rear seats. The original plan was to offer either rear seats with a standard fuel tank or no rear seats and a much larger fuel tank. Personally I think you want rear seats buy a Cerbera. If 200 + mph and the most acelerative TVR this side of a GT Speed 12 then go minus the rear seats !!
I was dropping my car off at the factory just after Back Home, and the R was still there.
The security guard (very nice man) said the car was open, and I could have a look inside. Clearly I couldn't resist squezzing my fat arse into the cockpit (quite snug seats and the lip on the still needs to be accounted for on entry/exit), and would agree that inside and out, the car looks fantastic. Rear seats? - forget it. There didn't seem to be anything like enough room for 2+2 type set up.
Unfortunately, the keys weren't in the car, as I'd have loved just to start the thing, let alone drive it. D drinks - you jammy sod!

Cheers for the times guys.
Paul,
May have to arrange a lunch time account visit over at Canary Wharf. I reckon I can make an excuse to visit Via Fossa and Bar 38. Fancy a pint later this week and a wander round the cars then ??
Cheers
Mark
Sounds good, but the Tuscan is only here till Thursday.
