Treating sill cavities...

Ok,just restoring a little Renault 5 gt turbo,just put on new floor edges,inner and outer sills.What's the best way to treat the sill cavities?.I have a fair amount of clear waxoyl left over from my last project but i've heard nothing but bad things about Waxoyl cracking/lifting etc.I prefer to try and spray in some paint product into the cavities first(POR15?)then a rust preventative?Anyone tell me best products to use?Cheers.
