I have tennis elbow but it does not usually affect golf.
Thursday it did and I had to take it easy for the rest of the round.
The odd thing is that today I can do all the usual stretch exercises I have been given but what is very painful is the following;
Arm out straight with palm upwards, then try to bend wrist downwards - just cannot do it at all.
This feels like it may be something different - any ideas anyone please?

tennis elbow = lateral epicondylitis
Golfer's elbow = medial epicondylitis.
The finger and wrist extensors attach to the lateral (cock wrist/fingers up)
The finger and wrist flexors attach to the medial (flex wrist)
You pull on either and you get pain at the attachment.
See your GP if it lasts longer than two weeks, WITHOUT GOLF/TENNIS.
