Went for a ride yesterday in Eann's Turbo Chim…. What a car!... I’ve been in a Blower Griff before but got to say I was totally shocked as to how the Turbo worked with the V8… its so progressive and torquie all the way through the rev range and also so smooth.. no big kick at 4K or anything.. it appears to be there all the way from 2K or so smile and no turbo lag or anything… just constant mega power on tap!!!! Wow….rotate
It’s also a bolt in design so no real modifications needed either! I’d bet you could have it fitted in ½ a day easy… runs with the existing dizzy and 14CUX.. and the AFR results shown from the set up were spot on…
To say I’m tempted is an understatement… with that power on tap, nothing on the road would even come close….
I want one!!!!!!!

Eann was saying that he thought the full kit would be about £3K... but without the electronic side of it (so you'd have to get your ECU set for it).. around £2.5K... obviously he needs to do the costings to confirm this... but even if it went up a few hundred quid... to get that sort of power on tap for lets say £3K..... eek

form a que here ....

TBH... I thought the Blower performed more like a Turbo with a kick at 4K and up.... and the turbo more like what you'd expect from a blower with progressive power on tap all the way through the range?.. all very strange.

That said, I'm not sure the blower car was set up fully so it's a bit unfair to say I liked one over the other.....
But what I can say is how nice the Turbo ran with the V8... Amazing lick

He took me for a spin at the growl, I was impressed.

As you say, smooth, no fuss power in a simple kit form that would have you running in a day!

I think he's coming to the BNG to show it off.. there is also a 2 mile long runway we are using on the Saturday at the BNG so I guess testing is possable for people seriously considering buying one...driving

This looks pretty good, but £3500+vat installed for the TVR Power turbo conversion looks pretty good too.

I wonder how the power/torque figures stack up? 317bhp/380lbs ft from a 4.0T the TVR Power conversion looks pretty amazing, especially when it's stated as being at the wheels.

I think the advantage of this one, is that you could remove it in 1/2 a day and put the car back to standard without removing the manifolds to the heads etc.. simple job...
Eann's also working on a plug and play ECU to go with it... it will be interesting to see where this ends up...
and also some power figures... if may cars 310 bhp say... this was at least 475 bhp if not more eek

Dont know if i have read Powers right but it reads as though £3500 also includes their new fully mapped ecu.
