Water ingress into sills

Hey anybody able to help, i've got water sloshing about in the sills of the mx5. Any ideas were the likely source is and the best way to get it out?

There are drain holes in the seam that runs under the sill, on a mk1 there are 2 at the front and 2 at the rear, just slightly wider parts of the seam with a little hole in the centre. They can be rodded out using a piece of sturdy wire coat hanger or similar.

Also there are drain tubes to clear out.

Remember to clean the tubes from the bottom upwards, as if you attack them from the top you can push the plastic tube off and apparently they're tricky to get back on.
