Your dream garage
Discussion
I am sure similar topics have been posted many times before but here it goes anyway.
If money was not an issue which cars would you have?
Mine change everyday depending on my mood and what I read, but generally there are a few rules that I care for which determine what I like.
I like manual obviously, normally aspirated, no power steering if possible, no ABS, no driver's aid really . I generally really like cars which are challenging and fun to drive. I like pure cars.
So today's dream garage for me would be: Mclaren F1, Porsche carrera GT, Pagani Zonda, any Caterham, and for the daily driving, Toyota GT86 and this: http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/video/persu-mobility... .

I read about an E38 7 Series with an E39 M5 engine dropped into it and then tuned somewhat. It was mental and I want one.
Aston Martin V8 Volante (1980's)
Aston Martin V12 Vantage
Jaguar E Type V12 convertible
Jaguar XJ220
Ferrari F355 Spyder

We are currently speccing the garage for the house we are buying, and essentially have a 'blank sheet' to create a very large workshop. OH has insisted on a sink as a minimum, I think a loo would be good (stocked with magazines). We ended up rambling on about full ensuite facilities, and at this rate it will basically have a working kitchen as well. That's before you get to the actual exciting exciting stuff as you have listed above...

That is a very nice picture of F1s Plotloss! They are incredible cars!
After reading Sparks_E39 and Leeson 660's list I feel like adding an Aston Martin (an old classic one however) and a Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 to my list as well. MX5s are very nice too Rushmore but I guess I can get one in reality, and I will get one very soon.
Thinfourth2, that is such a good idea and very inspiring, to build our own cars. I wish I had the skill.

I could make list 100+ cars long if i pretended Bill Gates gave me all his cash, so to add some sanity lets say I won £3-4m on the Lotto (just because the wife and I discussed exactly that last night!). We decided to have:
- Ferrari F355 GTB
- BMW M3 CSL
- Westfield 1.8 Zetec (my current car rebuilt for competition)
- Ford Escory Cosworth (she wanted this!)
- Ford Focus RS (her daily drive!)
- Alpina B5 touring (my daily drive)
If possible I'd try to justify an F40 in there somewhere and probably an old Land Rover or Merc G Wagen.

I'll say what I want right now, because my tastes always seem to be changing:
2013 Range Rover
McLaren F1
Koenigsegg Agera R
Noble M600
Morgan Plus 8 (the current one)
BAC Mono
Lotus Europa Twin Cam
And some custom car of some kind. I have no idea what car I'd start with, or even if I would start with a car. All I know is, it will involve a massive V12. This might be a bored-out Jag V12, or it may even be a Merlin. It will be evil.
