For the first time yesterday the wife and I talked about selling the sag because we want to move house soon. I'm sure there have been many people in this situation before and wondered how people felt after selling their dream car they have loved and enjoyed very much. The sag is my fourth Tvr so I have been a fan for some years now but can I live with going back to mk1 Tuscan or a Tamora again to release some funds out of the sag. Don't get me wrong both the Tuscan and Tamora are excellent cars that I have previously owned but they will never have the excitement and attention that the sag gets. It's a tough one for sure.

I am sure you'll have just as much fun in a Tuscan or Tamora at half the price, so if the £20k is needed for other priorities then I say go for it. I am sure your car will be cherished by someone else.

Very true, I loved my Tamora and will probably go back to one. The mk 1 Tuscan Clare had was much harder to drive lol

The answer is to sell it of course. It's certainly a good time to sell and you need the money. So thats it I reckon. frown

Its a beautiful car, mate, but now is as good a time to sell as any if you must. But remember, once it is gone, it is gone. You won't be able to get it back.

However, that being said the decision has to be yours.

Good luck either way.

Look at the T350 as well :P Similar look to a Sag etc (just as rare, if you go for a T), if not on track, is there a massive difference in performance, for how you will be driving it? Your probably looking at a 20K+ release in funds.

You could sell your organs to medical research

Or

Knock ££££ off the purchase price of new house.

There's loads of regretful sale stories on here

If I had to sell mine, think I would have to go for a Tuscan 2S - some roof off motoring - and all the drama of the looks of that car with the 4.0S engine, making sure it had CR box and short diff..... providing it left me with 25k to do something with..

Don't sell it. Sell one of your children instead. It's much cheaper in the long run

I do like the t350 very much but a good t top would be 25 - 30k and I am only looking to spend 20 on the new purchase.

Again Tuscan 2 would be nice but more than I will want to spend. :-(

He had a Fez 360 convertible straight after the Sag - terrible car, then the R8
