Footage from the Allcomers Sports V's Saloons on Road tyres, qualified in Monaro but excluded due to excessive noise, so Lotus Bullet substituted. Therefore had to start 35th and last on the grid. Water leak lead to a misfire from lap 2 onwards, managed to take the lead on lap 7 but had to retire 2 laps from the end due to overheating:

Certainly was a cracking day, and some excellent racing from all. Plus for the first time in months a race weekend without rain
