Window not dropping enough

Sometimes the drivers door window doesn't drop enough and catches on the rubber seal when opening the door. Is there a way to make the window drop slightly further?

Is the window slow (or slower than normal) to drop and rise when using the window open/close buttons ?? If so, then the window runners need a spray of Silicon. Not aware of an adjustment to the auto-drop feature for door opening..

any suggested brand or quality of silicon?

i am having trouble with the window not closing fully. it sounds like it is struggling and stops short leaving a gap. i can close it fully if myself and another push it up from both sides whilst pushing the up button

also when it goes down fully it makes a very loud clunk compared to the other side. almost as though it is expecting to go further and keeps going till it hits the end.

I bought one from Halfrauds.... Silicon Spray...

1. remove door card and apply liberally to all rails
2. keep pressing the buttons to move the window up/down a few times, spraying liberally in between...
3. wipe up the pool of run off from the bottom of the door
4. put door card back on.
5. Have a beer and soak up this rare thing called sunshine.

Fully agree on this solution with the silicon, with the door cards off also worth nipping up the small frame support nuts as they work loose and you don't notice a slight rattle getting louder, until you tighten and the door clicks shut like it used too. Also makes the glass a little more rigid in the door.

Can be done on an ongoing service interval basis by putting a small spray of same spary down the runners with window fully down.
