Travellers in Staines - cinema/Nandos area

I haven't been the Staines for a while but was there on Sunday. There were a lot of groups of teenage girls and lads. All very smart (and tanned) as expected and not doing anything annoying except occassionally standing right next to the window where we were eating.
Then as we left, one of the lads sprinted past me and the security guys were on their radios saying that the lads were fighting. Then worrying a van sped into the car park with much older men. I assumed the way they were looking around, they were there to fight or stop the fighting!
Is this a regular occurance in Staines now? I'd have no problem going back because it was only between the groups of lads. And apart from walking around, seemingly checking the opposite sex out, they weren't a threat to the rest of the public.

Not seen it before but, like any town, these things sometimes occur.
The first time we went to Camberely, right in the middle of the main street some young bloke virtually knocked out another (who was asking for it tbh). There was this 'slap' noise, a big 'Oooooo' and a silent High St for a few seconds. Never seen that before or since.

Isn't the name change meant to make people think it's a nicer place than it actually is 
Always used to be pretty normal. Certainly the fighting, particularly outside the nightclub round the corner from the cinema complex. Not sure about now (although sounds like it hasn't changed much) as I gave up going to Staines, upon Thames or otherwise years ago; there's only so much leeway you can give to a town where your car gets cased the moment you park and you can't go more than a few minutes without having to hear yet another sob story about needing change for the bus/phone/magic pixies.
It's a regular occurrence at Two Rivers on a Sunday night. Its where they go for grabbing and generally keep to themselves (with some exceptions)
I think its brilliant as it makes my sunday shifts more enjoyable
Been there for years and as there is a huge traveller fraternity around there it will carry on for years to come

I went to Thorpe Park earlier in the year and decided on the way home that we'd pop to Nandos at Two Rivers and both the car park and Nandos was crawling with them.
As we were leaving there seemed to be some trouble kicking off but it didn't come as much of a surprise.
A colleague of mine lives fairly locally and he reckons that some Sundays can get very rowdy but that may be all that grabbing nonsense that was previously mentioned.
