Just wondering what the finish is like / you have applied to the inside of your clam. Everywhere on my car seems to have been bodyshoots'd, I mean everywhere. The underneath of the floorpans, wheel arches, and possibly clams. I've starting cleaning the arches, took about 6 hours to do one front and I'm not finished!!
What I fancy doing is painting theninside of the claim, just black possibly and was thinking hammerite just to make them easily cleanable and to look fresh, has anyone done anything similar?

I spent about 120 hours, stated using degreaser and a small bathroom steam buggy. Removed all wishbones, dampers , springs uprights etc. everything was buffed painted Caribbean and washed then treated to a good dose of Turtle wax cockpit spray which gives an excellent shine and slippery surface which stops dirt collecting and makes future cleaning easier. I steam buggy the under side of the clam then treat with some PVC and vinyl cleaner stuff. Results were very good!
Will post sime pics if I get a mo!

Didnt quite spend 120 hours on it though!
Thanks for the suggestions guys. So do they all come undersealed like that? I've spent about 8 hours on 1 wheel arch and still doing it just working with a cloth and autosmart tardis. Going to replace the bolts and jubilee clips etc while I an at it. I'm more of a clean freak than anything else so have a long way to go, but once it's up to scratch maintenance cleaning will be a doddle.
So is the finish on the clam just the bare fibreglass?

I would have thought you'd be better with some G101 over Tardis ? So is the finish on the clam just the bare fibreglass?
