Howdoo wavey

Right, my Chim has been off the road since October cry and now I have deceided that I've gone as far as I can regarding diagnosing the fault so I will pay a man to fix it, since it doesn't run though, it will need transporting to the electrician's workshop, the car is parked at another location to where I live so I can't just nip outside and check but I wanted to know if there is a towing eye at the front? if so where is it?

ta!

It's in the middle on the front chassis cross member.

I bottomed out today on a country lane :-( so had a look under the car to see if I'd done any damage.
The towing point at the point appears to be off the front chassisrail, slightly offset to the right if looking from the front of the car.

Cheers Simon for the picture, and no that's not an 1100M, it's a much nicer 1100L smile

I wouldn't use the eye on the front of the chassis.

Perhaps its because I'm used to stronger stuff on my Landy, but its just too weedy.
Can you imagine the damage it would do if it let go?

I'd chuck a strap around the X section.

Looks fairly central there!
I thought that it looked slightly offset, looking from under the car :-(

I only want to know for when the recovery truck comes, It may come in handy when he's getting it on a flatbed.
