Marked Traffic Police Cars
Discussion
Just a quick question for the BiB.
When an officer is driving a marked traffic Police car are they supposed to where the uniform, or can they just where T-shirts (light blue in this case)?
If it is not a police officer, but a mechanic or similar I thought the Police wording had to be covered up/crossed out? If this is not the case then it might explain all.
The reason I ask the question is that I was followed by a marked Omega Estate this morning and the level of driving shown by the driver was not up to the standard I would associate with somebody who should be behind the wheel of this type of vehicle (i.e. poor car positioning, lack of indication to other road users of where they are going, tailgating, etc....)

No uniform required to drive the car. However, a lot of specialist units are starting to come up with their own uniforms, dogs and firearms are good examples.
It will be Hugo Boss jeans with a white vest soon, big metal badge hanging off a chain around my neck and driving a Ferrari 575M... which happens to have a large collection of sub machine guns in the boot.

Streetcop, why is your profile not available?
Perhaps he no longer exists?

Streetcop left us a while back...long story.
Onto the thread, it could be any number of things, a mechanic taking it to the workshop, or a specialist unit.
However, a yoof with a baseball cap would indicate he has probably stolen it.
