Pink LCD TV screen!!

I purchased an LG 3D LCD TV and LG soundbar together 6 months ago and have intermittently suffered from a pink hued picture when I turn the TV on. The only way I can currently get rid of it is to keep turning the tv and soundbar on and off numerous times and it eventually disappears.
I also have a SKY+ HD box and PS3 connected and it is only the sky picture (hdmi port 1) that is affected. The PS3 picture (hdmi port 2) doesn't suffer.
I sent the soundbar back to LG for inspection and they couldn't find a fault but in the two weeks they had it the picture has been fine and as soon as I got it back and reconnected it you've guessed it, pink screen!
Could it be a faulty hdmi lead? But then wouldn't the screen be continually pink? It's the intermittent nature of it that's frustrating! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Have you tried

Swapping the HDMI lead with one of the others?

Changing the HDMI input to one that you know is OK?

Maybe it's the backlight if it's a weak pinkish colour.

If you press the TVs setup menu is this also pink? If so, then it sounds more like an internal fault.
