ceramics working well
Discussion
Don't they tend to cost an insane amount of money though?
I also thought they chipped easily and needed to be replaced when they did.
At least, that was what put me off them when discussed them with a Porsche dealer.
They quoted a stupid figure for their ceramic brakes - and I mean stupid.
How much did you pay for yours out of interest?

Hi Sam
rotors bells and callipers are brembo , the convesion was done by my workshop as we look after a fleet of supercars and racecars we go through an insane amout of brakes etc ,so our supplier really looked after us on price !!! the rear is a duel caliper set up and looks really neat .I was worried they would be a bit snachy and aggresive at normal speed but there no different that normal breaks at average speed round town etc but get some heat in them and break at about 140 (on track of course) and your eyes and teeth come out !!! thanks to the huge 400mm front rotors j

Looking good, but at a cost of somewhere between 6+ grand if I remember the cost correctly (also seem to remember it was per brake?), way, way out of what I would be willing to pay. I seem to remember the Porsche brakes were quoted at sometime like 10k each - that might just be Porsche silly prices, but they ain't cheap.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

10k surely must be for a pair of fronts or all them, prices have dropped recently with more being produced, there's no chance a full set is £40k.
How much were these? Look great! Can your sort out a set from brembo with 'noble' on the calipers??
Yeah they can ingrave any logo and paint any colour ! I have a new set of front brembo callipers that you could run on a big set of steels rotors and bells they make me huge 400 mm rotors n bells for a great price How much were these? Look great! Standard 15x7 F/ 16x7.5 R on mine, could have use for brakes that fit within 16 x 7.5 fronts for customer cars though if price/performance right. Mainly looking to shave off unsprung/rotating weight while offering braking/fade resistance equal or superior to the usual 283-300mm 4-pot kits, and to offer something that is a step up from what's on the market now in terms of technology while maintaining OE wheels.
5-bolt discs that fit into 18" fronts would be good for T-cars.
