Since the remap on mu 996TT, as soon as I get to 1bar of boost the abs and psm throw up a fault.(on the dash display)
it is only on boost and everything resets when ingnition switched off and on again.
Could it be the Bosch MAF i have fitted (from ECP) in place of the Porsche original item? I have already changed the part once.

Could be the MAF. But, if it exactly coincided with the remap - are you sure your remap is fuelling correctly? Who did it?

I think I'd be taking it back if it started exactly then.

If it's not what's already been suggested it could be an iffy wheel sensor...

I have exactly the same on my 996T but without the remap and the warnings appear on startup, not on boost.

I have been told it is either:

- ignition switch faulty
- maf sensor
- brake light switch
- boost leak
- front nearest ABS sensor

I have recently had a full engine build although I didn't get these warnings for first couple of thousand miles.

More recently I have had all my brake disks and pads changed (although again a while ago) and also all my wheels changed over (from winter to summer wheels) so I suspect the last one.

I have been told not to worry about it too much and to get it sorted at my next service in a few months.

There is a common weak point in the wiring from the brake pad wear / wheel speed sensors. Mine failed on both sides at the front for the brake pad wiring, causing fake brake pad warning lights. So it could be that if it's happening from startup (assuming it's not the MAF).
