correct - the advert leaning up against it gives it away but it is a gazogene from WW2.

also in the museun (well worth a visit) was some interesting prototypes and many many pre war frnch cars by firms I have never heard of....

Agreed - I think they used to run on charcoal or something during the War.

It's a Citroen van, fitted with producer gas converter, which converts timber or charcoal into wood gas to be used as fuel. These were used during WW2 when fuel for vehicles was either unavailable or rationed
