Wing mirror off!

Some kind soul has knocked my wing mirror off....It doesn't appear too damaged (see link for pictures)

Any idea how I put it back on?

Hopefully the scratches on the door will t-cut out...

has it knackered the thread on the mirror? I'm guessing to be knocked off it must have?
They are a st design really, there is a small allen key under the plastic shroud which screws in to secure the mirror to the small inside bit with the thread.
Then the whole thing screws into the door (there is a nut fiberglassed in the door)

Managed to get the grub screw out and the put the thread back into the door....

How the heck do you get the alen key in to re-attach the rest of the mirror?

i had to allen key the threaded part to the mirror then screw the whole thing on (turning the mirror)
