I have brought some black lexus style fiesta mk 3 rear lights. I want to take the plastic covers off these units. Then I can glass them in under the tvr units on the car.

I am having a great deal of trouble getting the plastic covers off though. The glue that they have used on these light units seems to be very strong. Anybody that has fitted these units got any tips of how to split the unit and get the covers off?....

Thanks
Alex

Best way to get Lexus-style lights apart is with a large hammer. They're hideous.

Umm if you get the black background ones they will look really good. I agree the silver ones are bling bling and don't suit a tvr. If you look over the previous posts on this topic you will see this has been covered in depth.....

Don't judge a book by its cover..

It's ok, I was only yanking your chain and going for a cheap laugh anyway.

I know you've probably got enough on your plate at the moment but could you possibly post some pictures of the lights, before and after splitting/fitting. I'm really intrested in this so would also like to know how you get on with it.
Ta.

P.S. Sorry if you saw there was a new reply and thought I had some advice for you!!!
