S Series is better than Chevrolet Camaro!

On page 69 of July's Top Gear they have done some "bang for yer buck" calculations, i.e. how many BHP you get per £1000 on a selection of cars (and a Boeing 747!).

Some of their examples:
F1 car. Cost £5m, 750bhp so 0.2bhp per £1k
Nissan GTR. Cost £74450, 550bhp so 7.4bhp per £1k
Ssangyong Korando. Cost £16995, 173bhp so 10.2bhp per £1k
Chevrolet Camaro. Cost £34995, 432bhp so 12.3bhp per £1k (their highest score)

Now... if the average S is currently £5000 with 170bhp that means a whopping 34bhp per £1k

Comparing new car figures with second-hand S figures is not very fair. How does the V6S compare if you use an equivalent new V6S price?

Cost £206,665,000 and 157000bhp so 0.8bhp per £1k!
