Hi everyone (new to site)
Just bought a 2500M sbf conversion and I'm lost with all the different parts that were used. The car has a nissan diff 3.54 lsd and the stock shafts, hub combo. Right now its pushing about 275hp, but I plan on replacing the engine with one I built for my Tiger (400hp). Are the shafts & hubs from a TR6 or what? Any info would help. Thanks

If the shafts are original then they are based on Triumph 2000 / 2500 saloon car units.
Some pics of your set up would be interesting to see..I have heard that the Nissan unit is very strong..Over in UK Sierra etc cosworth units are more plentiful and tend to be used.

Hubs are TR6 / Triumph IRS based..
These will eventually kill you with much more than 250hp though...especially if they have been refurbished and swapped from side / side.

I would recommend you buy some quaiff hubs from Steve reid if you cannot source an equivalent in the states.

Lance..there is a guy close to you who goes by the name Pomohon, (Dan.) who has an original griffith he is re-building for drag racing...Every now and again I get an e-mail giving me his progress but for some reason his return e-mail always bounces...You should catch up with him..

Dan if you are looking in and reading this say Hi. I haven't heard from you in a while?

Thanks Neil,
I started researching the stag & 2000 shafts and find them to be a rare item over hear. Upgraded hubs & shafts for a TR6 can be had with no problem (Goodparts.com) This is the where the differential came from. The flanges must be the same, are they longer or shorter?
Thanks again

The Triumph 2000 saloon / Stag drive shafts are about 2" longer than TR6
