hello, anyone with similar problem, had white smoke on start up and under load occasionally, had AOS replaced few days ago. start up ok but after slow spell under hard acceleration through left hand bend large plume of white smoke then nothing. engine pulls ok, no warning lights on dash. Could it be coil pack starting to fail or something more sinister.

many thanks

I don't think it's an oil problem if it's white smoke - that's normally blueish! (Black smoke is normally unburnt fuel) ....

White smoke is normally coolant getting into the combustion process .... which could mean it's the cylinder head gasket or a cracked block!

It's now time to see an engine specialist like Hartech .... frown

Hopefully (and likely to be) residual oil in the system burning off .
