Does anyone know what the two boats are below? One looks a bit military and maybe the other's a Wally or something? Just interested as I snapped them on holiday recently.

The first is indeed a Wally. It's one of their 64' Wally Power range. The guy who designed the interior sits next to me at work.

I really can't decide if I like it or not, not that I'm in the market. Some times I think all the angles look great, other times it looks like a collapsed house of cards. Can't make my mnd up. I'm sure everyone will agree the interior is a master stroke (in case he's reading over your shoulder )

Wikipedia says "The 360° panoramic bridge and the integrated mast give the L’Adroit’s crew reliable information acquisition resources" which means the captain can see backwards as well as forwards. Now I think about it, that could be quite an important feature or a French ship

They normally just sit in the harbour until an Allied force comes and sinks them...


'Reliable information acquisition resources' indeed - 'all round view' not being impressive enough.
