Does anyone know the correct 4hu diff ratio fitted to the 1977 3000m with the original 4 speed gearbox

3.54 in the M series cars i believe.

other ratios available are 3.07, 3.31 and 2.88 as common derivatives..

Other ratios available from specialists.

3.54 lsd is hardest to find because most sought after.

Wedges - Jag 4HU
3.07 also in 2.8 wedges 4 speed (some V8 ?)
3.3 V8 in various options
3.54 5 speed 2.8, some V8 (?)

TR6 diffs (2500 and 2000 saloons use same diff, with different brackets and front cone - can be used or reassembled as a TR6 unit, or a parts source).

3.45 2500 saloon, TR6
3.7 2000 saloon auto, TR6 Carb (USA)
4.1 2000 saloon

Spitfire diffs come in
4.11 (spit 1300)
3.63 (spit 1500, vitesse 2L, GT6)
3.27 (some GT6 2000)

3.31 in the Turbos.

3.54 is correct for 4HU, 3.45 is correct for the Triumph TR6 differential.
