How To Fill A Hole (Left In The Bumber By My Fog Light!)
Discussion
Hi all,
I posted recently about my fog-light having fallen off due to the bracket rotting away; the light and it's plastic housing are fine but having spoken to Autolink and posted on here it seems that the brackets simply aren't available. I therefore have three questions:
1. Does anybody have or know where I could get a bracket or has anyone been able to have one made?
2. If I can't get a bracket I've heard you can wire in a reversing lihgt (I think that's right?) - how do I do that and would that mean I no longer have a reversing light?!
3. If I wire in a reversing light I'll have a fog-light size/shaped hole in my bumber; how could I go about filling it (bearing in mind my bodywork experience is non-existant!). I've seen fiberglass kits and the like in Halfords, or as the chap at Autolink said should I just botch it with some thick plastic off a bottle of some sort and put a sticker over it?!
Thanks in advance guys!
Charlie

The proper solution is a bit of plastic welding and respray the area.
