In the East Anglia area, who knows how to set these things up properly? Or is it just a case of wanging it in to OEM spec?

What do you mean - fitting better shocks or adjusting what you have got?
I cant recommend corner weighting as mine seemed worse after it!
I think just set up the heights as per recommendations on here and then adjust softness etc as per your own likings..?
If you want a well set up cerb then there are 3 or 4 people out there who people tend to recommend eg APM, Joolz, Guglielmi motorsport.....

In what way was yours worse? I'd have to say if it was worse after then something is/was wrong.

Topcats did mine. also Gaz Golds, dumped the spiders in favoour of SP12s and the car was transformed.

Matt Smith did the Geo on mine yesterday, very reasonable and car drives superb on its new coilovers I fitted last month
