I've got a leaky rim

<insert innuendo >
Tyre on alloy is losing about 10psi a week and the problem seems to be the seal on the inner edge of the rim. I don't know why specifically it seems to have started deflating as it has been fine for months. Potholes no doubt.
Any ideas on how to get it to seal better?
Garages are wanting £20+ to re-seat the tyre and for that money, I will go through the bother of pumping it up of the weekend. (It's not driven daily)

k that for a game of soldiers - most places I've used charge a tenner.I've never paid more than a tenner to swap a tyre over on a wheel, and it's only got to that sort of level in the last couple of years, a fiver used to do it.
I find tyre places charge less if you take the wheel off and leave it with them for an afternoon.
Although I've been blowing up a slow puncture for three months because that set of wheels is about to go in to storage and it didn't seem worth fixing.
