Formula RX brakes

Has anybody got Forumla RX brakes on their bike and could advise what special magical size allen key you need to undo the nuts to move them / remove them?!

I need to shift mine along my handlebars slightly after fitting some new grips and can't for the life of me find an allen key or screwdriver that will do the job! Its not a 6mm, 5mm or 4mm allen key, nor a philips head screwdriver - help!

I'm going entirely from memory here, as haven't got my bike in front of me at work, but I have a feeling that they have Torx heads on them.

4mm according to the manual but im sure its torx

Just did a bit of research online... Definitely Torx by the look of things (my memory served me well).

On one website I found they were saying to use a T15 to remove/undo the lever clamps.

Right.. They're definitely Torx heads.. But unfortunately I don't have the right size in my toolbox.. So all I can tell you is that it's somewhere between a T20 a T27 that you'll need to undo them.. Sorry I can't help much more than that at the moment

4mm normal hex key works on mine. Just tried it.

Lever clamp bolts are Torx T25 on my RX's

Maybe different model years? Mine are 2011s - OEM on a Cube

On my 2012 Cube they are definitely 4mm Hex bolts on the brake lever mounting bolts. White Formula RX's.

Mine are OEM on a 2010 Lapierre. Defo T25's on the clamp bolts, I guess they changed

2012 Lappy 714, Formula RX's with 4mm std allen headed bolt

(iirc, they changed some time in 2011 due to the earlier type being a bit too easy to snap if accidentally over tightened even slightly)

Don't think it's a year thing as mine is a 2012 Cube and has Torx

Mine is a 2010 Cube Ltd Race.
