Hazard lights coming on while driving

Sometimes the hazard lights start as I'm driving along. When I press the switch nothing happens and they carry on. If I turn the engine off and restart it stops.

Is this a problem with the alarm? I am getting a new one fitted next week at Car & Bike Installations.

It being a TVR maybe the fault is caused by overuse!

I would mention it to them on install as i cant see how its a faulty haz switch, probably an alarm fault.
