I'm currently sat in Tesco car park as my immobiliser light it stuck on. I can't start the car, nor lock/unlock it.

I've tried disconnecting the battery, and changing the fob battery.

It's a foxguard alarm by the way.

Any suggestions??

If it helps I can access the alarm box

Eventually gave in and phoned the AA. About 5 minutes after phoning them I tried disconnecting the battery again, and repeatedly pressing the fob. Whatever I did managed to fix it, and the immobiliser light went out.

Car started fine, and I've just got home fine. The problem now is my fob still doesn't seem to be able to lock/unlock the car.

I've only got the one fob (I know, I know) so I don't know what to do next. Can anyone tell me how I can re-programme the fob, in case I've managed to mess that up somehow.

I'm meant to be going up to North Wales tomorrow (up through mid wales/brecon!) and obviously wanted to take the TVR.

As a possibly related issue, the interior light was staying on when the doors were closed, but it may have done that all along.

Thanks.

I have a similar issue with a mystery battery drain causing immobiliser odditys I found keying on and off fully sorted mine but needed to recharge the battery daily, when I tested the drain I got a 0.03v drain when locked?

I've just plugged it into the trickle charger in the garage just in case, but I don't seem to have had any problems with the battery (haven't needed to plug it in at all)

It seems to be a problem with the fob, but for whatever reason the immobiliser is now stuck off, rather than stuck on.

I also noticed the elec windows can go up/down without the key being in the ignition - I'm sure it's never done that before.

Only today was I telling someone how I've had no real problems with the car laugh

Electric windows without ignition on is normal, and thanks for reminding us to sort out a spare fob, I hate Tesco's at the best of times, but at least you weren't going to starve yum
I always say 'the car is behaving at the mo' just in case the TVR gremlins are about laugh

Does anyone know best place to sort a spare Gemini fob please?
