I know i will get canned for this, but that would be my first choice and for one reason only, the marque has a great pedigree learnt from racing, so me thinks it will be more reliable with less teathing probs, the look is a little understated which i like,
Yes it has a few gizmos to help you on your way but 75k less would be a smile factor before you started the engine.
Not driven one yet but am tempted to have a look.

Great car choice, be great to hear how you get on with it,

Sorry, how about "It's rubbish!" as the title.

We can have a right good "discussion" :-)

Rubbish, Really? or is it just outclassed and "out looked" by its contemporaries.
I've heard many say the 458 is the superior drive, what do YOU think?

Unfortunately it's the same old story of what you want out of a car. I loved this car soooo much, I liked the slightly understated looks, obviously love the copper pearl orange paintwork as were the press ones. Until I saw them being tested back to back against the opposition. And in my eyes it is just too "Porsche". But it is their first attempt, and the next version is looking to be a good few steps up from this so hopefully will win my heart back.

11/10. Now being on day 2 on Dorset's finest in terms of handling, far better. Noise is a bit muted, but you can see why when you stick it in 7th at 90 on the motorway. 2300rpm with hardly any noise means it is a lovely all round tool, the 458 is just full on, all the time.

You had one for 2 days+? If not, get one. The longer you stay with it, the deeper the emotional link becomes. I also am starting to think it's not that understated, in the flesh it looks bonkers on the 1/3rd on front, main,y because the rear is huge compared to the front which gives it a more classic supercar look than just R18s front and back.

Had a good look at one at Carring With Cars. Quality was spot-on, haven't driven one, but it looked the part. With those doors, it is super cool. Did lack a voice, but that seems to have been addressed now. It's British and different, good on you J, thought you were going for the spider, is this the club car??

I was behind a black one yesterday going across the common at Keston. It was being driven 'properly' too and I have to say it sounded fantastic, quite deep and V8 like. Twenty minutes earlier a black 458 had passed me in the opposite direction doing about 30mph and it was screaming, which sounded good, but all day long?!!!

Screaming at 30, really? They're quite muted until over about 4000, especially from inside the cabin.
