What Is This And Where Does It Go? [Pic]

Hi guys,

Immediately to the right of the power steering reservoir at the top left of the pic, there is (what I think) an earthing cable attached to a small bracket, which is attached to the engine.

On my focus, the cable has completely snapped.

Where does it go?

Can't see the picture, I think it will be the braided earth wire. I am sure it is attached to the bulkhead. If you look for a 8mm screwhead the connector will be there. It is a weak spot and most I have seen are broken.
