oil light fades up under heavy load

I added some oil
The stick shows plenty.
But the lamp fades up very gradually when I engage hyperspace
Ideas ?

Could be the oil pressure release valve,
or possibly just a dash earthing problem.
What does your oil pressure readings look like?

Could also be a oil pressure sensor problem, as the lamp looks at pressure against engine RPM.

Agree. Senders go leaky and dont report right at high pressure
