Hi guys. I've just aquired a 2011 Ffrr autobiography. Unless they are fitted as standard it doesn't have the tow pack.

Based in the above, and other PH experiences what bike rack would you recommend

My experience is from a RR Sport so obviously not directly comparable

Ive used Thule roof bars on cars for aeons but TBH was getting fed up of the buffeting and drop in mpg even with just the bars attached let alone bike carriers let alone bikes too!

Plus even at over 6' tall I didnt fancy putting the bikes on the roof

On the RRS/Disco I suspect its a lot easier to fit a tow hitch as the mechanical stuff is already installed
S/H detachable hitch on Ebay plus factory electric pack (30 mins DIY fit) at a lot less than 250 all in

I can fit the carrier in a minute or two, a roof system would be a lot more hassle

FFRR - sorry no idea of cost but surely a bit more

Tow hitch on the FFRR is quite complicated to fit, nothing like the Disco or RRS.

I got an Allen 5 bike hitch rack. It's a solid as a rock and slides stright onto the hitch and doesn't move thanks to the no wobble bolt. I got it through Amazon USA.
