Anyone own or driven one of these?
I know they are no sportscar and the image may be viewed as questionable by some people but they do appear to offer good value for money secondhand. The 2.0 turbo is smooth, powerful and reasonably economical, the boot is a good size and the interior is a nice place to be. They don't appear to be too heavy either, around 1295kg (+ driver and luggage) according to Audi's website.
I don't need 4 seats and do around 20k miles a year and want something that's a good all rounder but fun at the same time.
£13-14K buys a low mileage example around 4-5 years old.
Any comments or advice appreciated.

I can't really fault mine, if you accept the obvious impracticality.
They are a bit of a pain to see out of / park with the roof up but that's about it!
4wd is the way to go if possible. The 2.0 turbo has a decent amount of power and torque which you don't want to waste with scrabbling front wheels!
