Toying with the idea of a pair of subtle gun metal grey stripes on my griff, does it suit or not??? I can't decide!

Anybody got any pics of a griff with subtle stripes?

Being honest, no. Peter Wheeler and team's whole design objective with the Griffith was to bare it down to the just beautiful shape; no door handles, no radio aerial, no chrome anywhere. If you are preparing a race car fine but as a road car I don't think the design can be improved upon and doesn't need additional adornment or ornamentation.

It's a no from me I'm afraid.

Maybe a different type of stripe might look better?

Stripes don't do it for me either I'm afraid - don't think the Griff needs them but some other cars suite them - GT40 type?

Thanks for all the comments, its good to know the general opinion. I think i will save the idea for a racer...

just heavily kerbed both nearside wheels on an enthusiastic trip into work this morning and cutting a left hander abit too close,(oops) so can put my effort into sorting them out instead....

Asthetics? Typical hurried, no thought Grief response to jump in at the first opportunity to have a dig at the nice polite Chim folks and end up using a word you can't spell properly and probably don't the meaning of either.....

Guilty as charged m'lud biggrin

I'd say we Griffters need to jump on every oppotunity that we can to insult the less fortunate Tivers ...... trouble is you lot give us far too many chances laugh

Right, the whole 'pink Chim/bubbles' thing was a setup. Clearly wrong and taken unfair advantage of by you bloody lot.

BTW, 'oppotunity' should have an 'r' in it wink
