What 'fun' car to buy?
Discussion
Sorry, another one of those annoying 'what car' threads but thought I'd post this to get the benefit of the experience of you lot that have driven and owned the type of thing I'm looking for!
I want a quick, fun car for sunny days and track days, something outrageous that will electrify the scenes!
I've been considering..
Ariel Atom Supercharged.
Caterham R500
KTM Xbow
Lotus Exige S2
Brooke Double R
I 'race' but not looking to compete this car, just track days, don't mind getting my hands oily and reckon to spend around £35k.
Many thanks!

R500 or Atom, really depends on how many mod cons you want. You can have a Caterham with a heater, weather gear and a wind screen....it would get my vote for those reasons!
Then again,
I have a 200bhp Westfield with weather gear but I've never used it so the Atom could get my vote. Take them out for a spin and make your own mind up.

thanks guys, yes 2-eleven must be up there in terms of pure driving experience although trying to get the missus in and out of it might be a challenge!
I've considered Westfields and Dax's with various different power plants, some interesting bike engined stuff out there but will something like that withstand the rigours of a few hard hours on a track?
