How many Ultima's have been made?

I was wondering how many Ultima's have been made? Specifically:
How many GTR's?
How many Can Am?
How many of each are there in the U.S. versus Europe?

Sorry to have started this thread. Somehow my 'search' did not find the other recent one. Looks like it's just very hard to know. Out here in the Bay Area of CA (the area that roughly spans San Francisco to San Jose), I know of two other cars so they are very rare. More so than in the U.K. I suspect. When people ask (and painfully, the car always draws a crowd) people ask how many Ultimas are in existence and I have no idea how to answer.
I guess I'll go with about 1,000. I have no idea how many are here in the U.S.

The first question I am asked is "what is it". This could be because I have no Ultima decals on the car.

I have now covered 1000 miles since my rebuild and will be at the Factory open day unless the weather is absolutely cr*p. I don't know how I will keep it under 3000 miles a year to keep within my insurance mileage limit.

I have been invited to a local car show and asked if they can feature my car in the programme with a picture. This after a trip to the local monthly classic car evening at our local pub!!!

On numbers.
I was led to believe there are about 1500 cars world wide with slightly less than half that in the UK.

excellent Paul, nice to know somebody else is enjoying there car, and actually driving it, I am on a limited policy and very close to my limit, so will have to pay extra for the increased milage, will sell it at the end of the year and get a Noble, believe they are a lot faster and out perform an Ultima,

Friends with Nobles tell me how much faster an Ultima is compared to their cars.
