This is the Porsche Club GB Yorkshire Region's annual event and concours this year at its new home Lotherton Hall near Leeds. This is the same event that was previously held at Harewood House in June.

The event will have displays from both Strasse and Specialist Cars of Malton, Porsche tractor display, trade village, live swing band, members concours competitions, refreshment stands and the usual turn out of a couple of hundred Porsches.

Gates open at 10.00am.

I'm not a member of the Porsche club, but presumably it's ok just to rock up in mine? Any idea of the cost to get in?

Why has this moved from Harewood House?

Everyone is welcome.

IIRC it is £3 entry!

See you tomorrow.

Unfortunately my road car is locked up in a specialists garage until Monday waiting for polybushes and castor mounts to be fitted... Its a shame that the event has left Harewood, as its been there for as long as I can recall.

Indeed everyone is welcome member or not, if you come in a Porsche then entry will be £3 per head with the event voucher. Download from this link or PM me and I will email you one.

It moved from Harewood because they wanted less car events, got rid of their events staff, employed posh events management company and then got rid of them and generally decided that a large event that generated lots of revenue for very little effort or cost on their part isn't what they need. Then changed their mind confused Anyway a change isn't a bad thing and the new site is fine and less hassel to deal with.

Given the weather in June we should be grateful, assuming that tomorrow isn't a wash out.

Sounds extremely unreasonable on their part. Im not comfortable with change though, I havent been to the main PCGB event since they moved it from Althorp down to somewhere in the South...

Took the dog down to the woods by Lotherton this morning. Heard a lot of noise so went a bit futher and saw them all there. Some really nice looking cars.

Although someone had kindly stolen my aerial when I got back to my car.! FFS

Went to Lotherton Hall today with the family and was pleasantly surprised to find this was on.
Some lovely cars.

Loved the 'ahem Porsche tractors.

On the way back there seemed to be alot of Rolls Royce cars. Passing Harewood House later on it seems they were hosting some rally.

What was the weather like? I'm about 20 miles West of there and it's been torrential rain and thunder here all afternoon. Definitely not a day to be wandering around outside!
