Just a prod, some of you may have seen the thread in the Events' section.
POTBIII will take place on sunday 5th September, Don and Dusty are pulling together a magnificent route for the drive down with a couple of rendezvous points for those coming from different directions.
Once at Hayling Island I am hoping to secure free parking around the usual location. There will be the 3rd Open PistonHeads pitch & putt competition (Griff owners will be allowed to join in) with prizes kindly donated once again from our very own PetrolTed

For those who have not been before the location has lots to offer including:-
Pub (reasonable food - dodgy bands)
Ice Cream/cold drinks kiosk
Funfair very close
Lots of open ground for picnic's BBQ's
Local pitch & putt course
Toilets
If the tide is out some fantastic sandy beach with a massive sandbar to laze around on (and also pleanty of sand to show Johnny Northerner how to build a proper beach house )
And of course the most important thing - great cars and fantastic company.

Year 1 we had 35 cars, year 2, 27 - let's keep up the tradition and show the crowds that gather how to do a proper beach picnic!

What do you say? Put your name in the calendar now so I can give the beach-keeper some numbers in order to sway him in to giving us free parking.

High tide is at 15:25 so we had better start building it early!
