Strange Connector on 1996 500
Discussion
While tidying up the mess in the passenger footwell by removing unnecessary relay sockets etc. I noticed this blue connector positioned just near the ECU, it appears to form a junction box for several wires in the loom.
Does anyone know its purpose? No pins or sockets on the connector just a blank end.
Is this part of the original Rover loom or a TVR mod?

I think you will find that it's not a plug but a loom connector, it doesn't actually do anything.
I asked the same question in this attached thread recently.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks fellows, better not cut it out during the tidying up exercise!
Alex, I must be regressing fast as I contributed to that earlier thread and completely forgot about it.
One thing I did discover while sorting out, was the immobiliser wiring and where the various wires terminate so that if the Meta goes belly up I can bridge it quickly.
Will mail details to known Grif owners if anyone is interested.
