Just picked this up in my local Sainsburys on offer for just shy of 50p. It's a lime & mint carbonated drink with caffine and taurine. I've not tried it yet but expect it to taste as bad as other energy drinks.
Seemingly endorsed by Mike Tyson and quoting him as saying "My biggest weakness is my sensitivity, I am too sensitive a person."
Surely the historical/political statement 'Black Power' isn't appropriate marketing.
I may email the store when I get home later.
What next; White Power Washing Powder?

IIRC its a Polish brand.

I dont think its offensive...just a bit lazy marketing.

Since Tyson is a member of the Nation of Islam, it's not a big stretch. Still a bit distasteful though, and I'm not just referring to the flavour.

It's also the name of a particularly nasty and violent gang in NZ...

Superb. I can imagine the marketing strategy meeting.

Exec 1: "Lets make a drink called Black Power"
Exec 2: "Ooh good idea - we can trade on the civil rights movement - AND the salute at the '68 Olympics"
Exec 1: "Olympics is this year too - great tie in. We should put a prominent black sportsman on the can"
Exec 2: "What about Mike Tyson?"
Exec 1: "Convicted rapist Mike Tyson?"
Exec 2: "Yeah - but we'll write on the can that his biggest failing is his sensitivity - rather than his rapeyness"
Exec 1: "Perfect - lets go"

Unfkingbelievable.

Probably not racist, but definitely distasteful. With it being a Polish brand, I suspect this is more of a 'lost in translation' thing. It sounds like it will taste disgusting mind, much like Rodeo Energy Cola, another disgusting cheapo energy drink.
