I seem to have developed an addiction to endurance races....and the pull of Spa, being only about 90mins away from where I live, was too strong to resist, despite the weather forecast for Saturday night

Above and below shows some of the most bizarre weather I've seen....somehow the setting sun lit up the cloudy sky orange, whilst at the same time it was absolutely pissing it down. If you think I may have pushed the processing too far on the pinky orange ones; I actually took most of the colour out of these images because the reality looked so fake!

k me those are good beyond just good and great beyond great.
I've been to Spa once. It alternated between bright sunshine and chucking it down and offered immense photographic potential to any clutz with a camera (like me). But to capture what you have found there ... just fking incredible no matter whether the weather helped or hindered.
Maybe I should point out that I don't normally do "f"words on public forums but in this case I can't think of a more aposite way to describe my appreciation of your results.

It really does spur me on, because often I have moments of wondering WTF I'm doing at these events, when I'm wet, cold, hungry, tired and aching!
Seriously though, there are lots of guys out there doing a lot better job than me (albeit with a slightly different approach), I've seen some stunning Spa24 shots from Camden Thrasher for instance....I would love to get on the other side of the fence though, so I can battle it out with those guys on even terms!
But TBH I do quite like seeing the curve of the pitlane so I will leave it as is.
