If a DB9 where to have an accident and bent the ally outriger which runs from front to back, which is bonded and riveted to the body.

Can it be replaced or is it a no goer.

This car is not mine by the way.

Chartwells in Derby can do this sort of repair I believe. It would be worth giving them a call for their opinion

It is going to have to be a Aston Approved body shop and likley to cost mega £££
I'm fairly sure that is bonded with the high temperature resin which is not easy to remove and replace (unlike the low temp resin on the crash structures)

I'm guess this is an insurance write of someone is trying to put back on the road.
If so what CAT did they give it?

is insured, might be written off, shame it is a nice car

what yr is it.....newer versions with higher values might be repaired back at the factory , but if it is 04 - 08.....think it will probaly be written off...

Whether rightly or wrongly, I completely agree! A Cat undeclared chassis repair... Some poor sod would own that one day and wonder why the windows never quite lined up...

I should have added that I hope all concerned where not injured.....I’ve had two friends killed in car accidents………the car is insured so it’s of minor importance

its an 05

damage isnt bad at all just kinked the rail. it was a low wall impact at around 15 mph and no airbags went off
