Bike Rack

Afternoon everyone,

I have finally managed to get myself and the other half sorted out with a bike, so now I need to get a bike rack for the Mini.

Any suggestions?

Look at Saris Bones,family member just bought one, fits very well.

I used a Saris Bones 3 when I had my old Cooper S. It's not particularly cheap, but it's a great piece of kit that can be fitted in a few minutes and so long as you don't put it on top of a dirty or dusty bumper, it won't scratch your paintwork either.

It's also small enough to be stored in the MINI's boot if you fold the rear seats down, so that you don't have to worry about it getting stolen off the back of the car while you're away cycling.

I am looking at a roof rack to be honest, not sure why but never liked the idea of the ones that hang off the back.


Having done some research it looks like the Thule products are the best around.
